The irrlicht community is still growing, and most of us spend half our time
trying to find solutions to all kinds of problems related to irrlicht or c++.
These forums are a great way to communicate with others in order to solve
these problems, but i wish to promote another way, which is not used enough
yet: IRC.

As some of you may know, there has been an IRC channel for Irrlicht
for a while already, on irc.freenode.net, channel #irrlicht. Unfortunately, not
many of you seem to want to join, or maybe you just dont know about it.

That is why i decided to post this thread, and for the people who for whatever
reason dont want to use an irc client, i modified a java applet to connect to
the channel:
