The details come from the combination of color, normal, specularity and height maps. You have all those textures to your availability.

So you can render them with or wihtout shaders of any kind.

Our Dexsoft-artists are working on upcoming similar and even greater stuff like you can see here:

I tested the boxes and crates freebies pack some time ago and had major problems with the meshes due to wrong texture names (wrong names, wrong extensions, ...). Have these problems been fixed?
It would also help to see some Irrlicht rendered images. Since Irrlicht does not support all of these materials out-of-the-box you cannot expect the same visual appearance without some programming effort. However, diffuse and bump or diffuse and lightmap might be ok for many cases. Would be nice to see how those meshes would look like.

i would test them lol, but i can never EVER seeing myself making a generic plastic box game, such as ANOTHER medival rpg? unlikely :)

its well , great for that kinda game tho

Thanks for the comments.

I will try to create some scenes with Irr-Edit.

But I am very sure that you can render our models. We provide 10 different formats. You can simply use them or open with any modelling software (even Milkshape) and rename materials ;)
