thnx HokutoTC!!!

I'm testing it on 2 machines:
PC1

AMD Athlon XP3000+
1 gig of ram DDR400 mhz
PNY Verto Nvidia Geforce Fx 5900 ultra 256 Mb
Nvidia 56.72 drivers
Windows 200 pro sp4
Direct x 9.0b
Msi kt6 delta mobo via chipset

PC2

AMD Athlon XP2600+
768 mb of ram DDR333 mhz
PNY Verto Nvidia Quadro4 750xgl workstation graphics 128 Mb
Nvidia 56.72 drivers
Windows 200 pro sp4
Direct x 9.0b
Msi kt4 mobo via chipset

Since it's compiled with opengl, you know it reads 60fps all the time. When I compile in dx9 I get 130-185 fps on both pcs, but if I activate shadows on....pc2 goes way down in fps. Even being a Quadro workstation graphoics card, the GeforceFX5900 beats it and suffers no dropdown at all!!!! I can't imagine the new Geforce6800!!!
I uploaded another demo with source here:
http://www.theshower.nl/cgi-bin/genesis ... play3d.zip

compile it with opengl and the change to dx and see the changes.

the jerkyness in the video is due to the capture program. I'm using a smooth cam modified dll.

I will be releasing the other demo as well!!!

cheers!

Afecelis, thanks!
That was good info about Hardware Specs...

I was trying to download the Demo with source file
http://www.theshower.nl/cgi-bin/genesis ... play3d.zip
but it is now there... I think this is when you say the video is not there?

anyway I downloaded the other AFC.zip file and I'll open it ASAP.

Keep us update with your stuff because it surely is of great help to all us newbie out there :)

Thanks again

Fortunately, Unarekin mirrored the display3d example here:

http://www.blackspork.com/files/display3d.zip

I'm forced to erase to upload new stuff since I don't have much space.
