Oh right ok, i thought that, but i don't think you can do that in java, but there's extra methods i have that allow it so i can use them. I'll check this out later!

That line extension thing seems to be working perfectly, so many thanks for that! now i've just got to decide in which way to do the collision detection!

EDIT: Got it all working now! The only little niggling problem is that if the agent is moving whilst it gets hit, the impact animation (same one as in the techdemo) gets left behind as the agent moves forward.... Which is just an aesthetical problem really, not a problem as such..

Could get round that by making the agent pause while the impact animation is going, so that the impact doesn't get left behind, but i don't think that's an important consideration for my project!

what if your line is infinite and if it hits somthing somyhing hapens

What if a goblin steals your line and trades it for a Knob Goblin Goblet? What then?
