Oh yes and I am sure if sio2 were here he could vouch for DX10. I think, if I recall correctly, that he is generating dynamic lighting calculations, for adding lights to the scene, on-the-fly.

So yeah, overally I would say DX10 is just made to make things easier, but not produce dramatic graphical leaps as portrayed on some videos.
