I'm thinking about making the move to 2008 (currently using 2005), any notible differences between the two? Also, am I going to need the PSDK for this? Thanks in advance, guys.

Dunno. I'm still on 2005 and I'm not moving until I have to. I'd have recommended 2005 if I could find a link for it.

I've moved to 2008 and its much more better.
It has some small tweaks but its much more convenient.
The build button doesn't compile the active project now but the project your active open file is in or if no files are open the last selected project in your solution. The non-express version has class diagram generator which is awesome. I'm sure much more has improved that I just don't know about but I highly recommend 2008.
There are more tweaks I don't remember now but even though the changes are small they are notable as you asked.

is there that much differences between 2005 and 08?
i mean for me was it always while trying to code something in quake 3 source the old visual studio was sure the best program which was verry clear and without any problems.
