Thanks!
Thanks!
I just wanted to give a thank you to the creator(s) of this engine. I've been looking for open source 3d engines in which I could integrate a Novint Falcon controller into (www.novint.com), and Irrlicht was by far the easiest engine to get up and running! It has also been a pleasure browsing through the well commented and well organized code, finding the places I needed to find wasn't a hassle at all.
So thanks again
So thanks again

Well, except if you had checked the homepage of novint you could have found out that this controller is not a usual input device and that they offer a special SDK to access it's features. And it makes some sense that to really test a 3D-Touch controller you will need to integrate it into a 3D world. So the original post made absolutely sense.white tiger wrote:i think it's creative spam. irrlicht does not have native support for this controller, and modify it to add support has no sense since there are inpute libraries wich do that for you like directinput and OIS. the compliments could apply to all source code. this post should be deleted

I would also like to thank the developers, contributors and all forum members for providing the support.
This is really one of the best forums i have been a member of.
I have found no hostilities and there was always someone to reply my dumb questions.
Also for tons of code snippets
Keep up the good job!

I would like to thank my trainer, and my personal Lord and Saviour, SHATNER. And you, the little people of the intartubes, who make it all worthwhile. Give yourself a big hand. You've earned it.
