legal info using q3radiant

Post by loki1985 »

hi folks!

i just wanted to know following:

if i use q3radiant to make a map i may not use it in a commercial project, right?
but when compiling it with q3map2 instead of the original compiler, am i allowed to use it commercially, then?
or is the problem not the use of the compiler but the editor itself?

and another problem:
can i use q3radiant to build maps without owning quake3?
maybe by using a demo version or something like that?
is it possible?

thanx for any clearification.
greets,

nope, none.

legally the compiler:

http://map3bspc.sourceforge.net/tech.html

and the mapper u can use:

planetquake.com/quark

That's the only way fo rnow.

and the compiler is not too advanced yet, but can do surely.
