BloodGiver: Does anyone still have a copy of this game?

Post by trimayne »

Hello there,

I've wondered if anyone happens to be able to share this Gothic-style RPG, as many members of the Gothic Community (World of Gothic) would have liked to take a look on it, yet discovered it way too late, just like I did.

It would certainly be much appreciated, given that even it's creator [Herion], whom I've approached a couple of days ago, hasn't saved a copy :(

Trimayne

P.S. I could even provide the webspace, if necessary, as I do really care for this game.

Well I would just like to say that I don't have this. But I also want to point out that this isn't exactly the forum thread that you should post it in.

I'm sorry Halifax, but it's not as easy a decision, that's why I've figured, that I might put it here.

I'd be tempted to move it to the /dev/null subforum, unless I'm missing something here. It appears that you're just trying to leech warez - which of course makes you a terrorist paedophile hippy - and this has nothing at all to do with Irrlicht.

I searched google for it and it brought me right back here...
Bloodgiver is a Gothic style RPG with lots of NPCs and dialogs, which won the Polish Red Cross
Competition, and was developed in Poland by Herion. The game is finished and can be downloaded and played freely.
(and sadly I don't have a copy)

I have copy of it, but I will have to get permission from Herion to redistribute it.

You're most definitely missing something, as this has been a freely distributed irrlicht-based educational game, which won the polish red cross competition, that sadly can't be found anymore.

(If that post of yours hasn't been serious ignore my comment)

Yeah, I've even utilised the wayback-machine [http://www.archive.org], as this used to yield positive results, but well... thanks for your commitment, though ;)

Brilliant!

I've already contacted him some days ago and he said, that he sadly can't share a copy, so I figure, that he wouldn't mind you redistributing it, but I've nevertheless approached him again, so that there's a definite answer to the question of permission > I'll send you the email-conversation via PM, when I receive his answer.

Trimayne

[Edit:] I've received his answer > sent you a PM.

Fair enough, I apologise for not reading your mind. I had a quick look around, but I kept tripping over the clutter.

Nice one Nadro, it's a shame it disappeared from the net. Maybe it could be hosted on g0dsoft by someone to keep it around longer!
