a cms i'm working on

Post by Virion »

Hey guys, I've been doing a CMS (content management system) from scratch with PHP/mySQL and HTML for 2 weeks now. It's something similar to Joomla and wordpress, but much simpler.

I haven't decide to release it until it get matured. screenshot below shows the sexy admin panel which allow you to add/edit/delete stuff pretty easily.

anyways i seriously think that irrlicht website needs some updates as in layout design (and replace the logo with the new one please), tutorials, demos/screenshots, etc. my suggestion is to put a few more people to manage the site. the website is kinda old, tutorials are outdated, screenshots don't really show the potential of the engine (suggestion: put mr. genius blindside's sexy demos on it), and even the logo is outdated! trust me, website does affect the popularity of the engine. in fact, this is an open source engine, which means it heavily relies on contributions from the community, the larger the community the better it will be.

Looks fantastic. Does it use valid XHTML & CSS 2.1?

i'm not really sure how to differentiate css 2.1 with the older versions but i've tested it and i didn't find any problem so far. as for xhtml, nope i'm using only the html.
