Nintendo -> Sony -> Microsoft?

The accompanying article makes the observation that the XBox 360 now seems to be chasing the Wii, which isn't just a smutty euphemism.

Since Microsoft's long-stated goal was to own the (blah blah buzzword) home entertainment hub, I guess losing the HD format war has hurt them worse than they can admit. Their way forward for their expensive next gen multi-function box is to ape the cheap last gen single purpose box from Nintendo.

Stealing a march on the PS3 by shipping without the HD-DVD drive as standard perhaps wasn't the stroke of genius that it first appeared, although losing the format war because they didn't commit to it at least means that they aren't hurt as badly, because, uh... they didn't commit to it.

It'sMicrosoft, Square Enix, Zipper Interactive.

Microsoft finally realized it's been marketing the wrong console, Square Enix has been squeezing the most it can by marketing only to Sony and finally Zipper Interactive has been developing good games, got no idea why he is depicted as a weird nerd.

No, it's Nintendo (if you read the article, they are the ones marketing for women and such), Sony (smugs when they don't have reasons to be, based on the article still) and Microsoft (always based on the article, who have realized 2-3 years later they mistargeted their publicity and design)

Someone must have given you ill information because Resistance:FOM didn't ever touch a PS2...

At any rate, I'm looking forward to Resistance 2, and GTA.

Owning a PSP, the bastard stepchild of the PS3, it was good to see Sony announce Resistance: Retribution for the handheld and even more so by the fact that Bend Studio is developing it.

Yeah Resistance PSP actually looks like pretty nice graphics! Should be a good 'un!

Halifax, where's the mention of Resistance on PS2? I don't see that anywhere in this thread...

And surely the one on the left is Microsoft as it has the xbox 360 logo in the background...

Perhaps you haven't seen http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php?d=20080721 ?
It's a running gag that Nintendo speech says it doesn't target the core audience yet everyone will still buy it. All it is in the backgrounds are circles of colors, 'is all
