Coder wanted for PSP game; or artist looking for PSP project

Post by cnscrpt »

I've read some of the forum posts and understand that the LTE engine is bit of a touchy subject here (it being Irrlicht in disguise and all that), but I hope you guys don't mind too much for asking for help here since there’s no real forum dedicated to the LTE engine.
Basically I’m a self-proclaimed artist with some free time and a passion for making leet games. Been wanting to make a 3rd-person horror game for the PSP for some time now, but I’m an idiot when it comes to coding. I’ve written some ideas down, but currently don’t have a full design document yet, I’m looking if I can get someone enthusiastic enough to jump in.
I’ve already posted on sites such as PSP3D and such, got some nice comments but didn’t manage to get someone who’s able to stick around for a while.
But yeah, making a horror game would be nice, but I’m open to doing other stuff as well.

Stuff from an earlier game idea, which is now canned

Thanks for reading, etcetera. :)

Is it really necessary for it to come out on PSP? I'd say you're limiting the number of people who will end up playing your game if you release it on PSP as your users will require a cracked PSP. If you just release it on PC then anyone with a PC is a possible player!

True, but I just really like the PSP system and I'm tired of always doing hi-res models/textures for PC mods and such, gets boring quickly.

/e I'm also available for PC projects I guess, as long as it's not for making super-duper hi-res stuff. Low-poly things are more fun.

Sounds interesting. Wanted to code something interesting for the PSP for some time already, so I would give it a try (if you're interested PM me).
