Gonna move to another engine

Post by aungsithu »

Hi,
This title seems little weird. :)
But actually, I just want to say thanks to those guys here who help me a lot in these days (JP, Rogerborg, Frank Dood, whoelse??) :). During the last 3 months ago, I got a very urgent project to do that I've no time to learn new engines, frameworks to do this and so, company gave me chance to choose whatever I can work in the fastest way. And because of the facts I read about that irrlicht is extremely easy to use, I chose irrlicht to do this project. Yes, and that's true. It's really easy to use irrlicht. As I'm also not good in scripting, writing in C++ with irrlicht makes me more productive.

Now, I've done a prototype of this project (which I was supposed to do). So, I've to learn the other engine that my company licensed.

Not sure to come back to this board quite frequently.

Thank you all.

Good luck with your project, hopefully you will get the chance to use Irrlicht again for another rapid development prototype or a full project even.
