Can we develop web applications using irrlicht 3d player like applications that use shockwave player?

No, although that may be possible when the next release comes out as it has a wrapper for .Net, which I believe gives you access to use Irrlicht with all .Net languages which include Java and ASP, both of which you can use on the web. I don't know enough about it to say whether it is possible or not.

Something that would be possible, as I have been able to do it with Visual Basic in this manner, would be to make an ActiveX control.
Crud, how do I do this again?

do you have any plans on releasing that? I don't have any interest but I would imagine that many others would as I have seen several posts about if they could use visual basic to program games for Irrlicht.

What I said was a little muddled. I made a DirectX application as an activeX control.

I was just saying that it should be possible to make an ActiveX control with C++ that uses irrlicht, I just have never done programming like that.
