Software Subcontracting

Post by The Onslaught »

Hey what's up? Happy new year y'all

I'm interested in opening a little software company, so I thought that a good way to start is being a company working for subcontracts.

But when it comes to negotiations I don't know what to expect.

Do a subcontracting company gets a percentage from the original software contract or does the company has to have a fee or a direct cost?

Thanks in advance

Fee is your best bet here. You are worth X an hour or Y on a Z project. Don't sell cheap, don't sell for more than your worth, know the industry rates and good luck.
