hi, first sorry my english^^
i try to make a littel animation and import it in irrlicht.
first i tryed with 3dsmax +panda x exporter but the animations where not complet everytime the last 1/3 of every animation was cutted..
i searched longtime for a solution but nothing found, so i changed on Blender + b3d exporter becaus many users in this forum wrote that it work :P
but it dosent... the model is exactly the same but without any animation.
so my question do i have to set some special parameters in Blender that the animation (witch is done with bones (i tryed also without bones dont work too)) work?
the exporter himself dont have any options für animation so i think the animation is token everytime?

using last blender and last gandalf b3d exporter...

Armature

You can't rig it with an armature modifier. It has to be imparented into the mesh. Select the mesh, then the armature (or maybe vice-versa) and hit Ctrl-P, then select "Armature", and "don't create vertex groups".
Hope I remembered everything correctly :wink: .

many thx, now i get worked my first animation :D
but with the next problem.
first i get just moved the head, this works, then i did exactly the same procedure for one leg, but the leg don't move.. its the head witch move twice. i will upload the file when i'm back home,

hope anyone have a idea why it don't work

The best way that I've found is to, save, merge all the seperate parts into one blender object (don't worry the mesh buffers stay the same), export,
exit. Then you can just merge everything and export, then you still have the same setup in blender.
That would be illogical captain...

version 2.07 not work with final last version of blender. Python 2.6
