Hello my friends, how are you doing today?
I'd like to share a special open source library my friend found which is a Web Based GUI library in C++.
Their sites describes it the best so I won't say much, but in plain english its: Code an application in C++, type http://i.p.add.ress:port in your favorite browser and see its GUI.
No Web Programming Language knowledge required.
Homesite: http://www.webtoolkit.eu/wt
Examples:
- Hello World: http://www.webtoolkit.eu/wt/examples/hello/hello.wt
- Hello World Code: http://www.webtoolkit.eu/wt/src/hello.C (its C++ don't worry about the .C postfix)
And there are 7 more here: http://www.webtoolkit.eu/wt#/examples/
All with explanation and documentation of course.
What do you say about this amazing library?
P.S
It comes with its own built in server so no need to worry about that end though you can still use apache2 if you like...

We're programmers. Programmers are, in their hearts, architects, and the first thing they want to do when they get to a site is to bulldoze the place flat and build something grand. We're not excited by renovation:tinkering, improving, planting flower beds.

This is brilliant really. I mean in the age where a majority of people have a broadband connection, a simple small game could be written in C++ and played through a browser without too much trouble.
