post or mail?

Post by xDan »

Say I was making a website which sells cats globally via post. Should I call it catsbypost.com or catsbymail.com??

Being in the UK I prefer post. But do Americans prefer mail? Would using "post" sound unnatural or very British to them? (And what about other countries?)

How very constructive for a spammer! If the link was only in your profile no-one would be the wiser.

I prefer mail, since there is a difference between a Post Office and Mailbox over here.

Yeah, that's my question. His post was even longer than that and I didn't feel it was spam...

No, the post was exactly that one, and his signature was a pharmacy ad. Maybe it was a hacked account, but at least it was spam.

Then it was modified before any other post were posted. He seemed to ramble a bit between whether or not one felt more natural then that sentence clotured the post.

It's funny, in the UK we have Royal Mail, and send post, in the US they have the Postal Service and send mail.
