Weird bug with a .3ds

Post by The Creator »

I have a model that it's centered (I've already checked it's pivot and it's where it should be right under the model) but when i load the .3ds in irrEdit the pivot is not under the model like it should, but way appart from it.

This is the .max and the .3ds:

They are both in the same .rar

I have no idea what could be happening. I can't find anything odd about the model.

I checked the 3ds file in blender, and the model is also away from the origin so i guess that you made something wrong in max when exporting the model or you forgot some options there ? Cant help you with max cause Im not familiar with it.

I guess you moved the pivot in 3dsmax...
I'm not sure, but I think there is an option in 3dmax that sets the pivot at the new position (currently you just moved it and it will be at it's old place in (eg) Irrlicht)...
maybe reset the pivot in 3dmax and move the mesh instead... ;)
