cut a model in 2 parts...

hi all..
i need a model that can run and shot at the same time then i thought that i need a model of a soldier(where can i find one?), seal it in 2 parts, give different animations then "attach" them in the same node(or using some kind of relative positions)when i load them..

with which program i can simply do it??
where can i find some soldier, zombie models???

There is always www.blender.org if you want to create your own model or play with someone else's model.
