Okay I removed the .dll It only needs to be there for DX8 to run. DX9 is fine without it.

I'm glad to see Pingy is still in development. The enemies look really fun.

I can't run the demo, though. I get...

'this application failed to start because d3dx81ab.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem'

when running the exe. I'm running XP 32 with Directx 9.

I found the file and put it in the Pingy directory, and it works.

Yeah someone said that file was detected as a virus. I just tried to run it outside of my IDE and got the same problem you said. I relinked now and it's working.

I just got the new demo up. It doesn't have much new stuff but it does have a few performance enhancements, and it also doesn't have the D3DX8 DLL in it and should work without it now.
