Hi all,
I'd like to mention our recently released BSD-licensed project based on Irrlicht and Irrlicht.NET CP: 3Di Viewer "Rei", which is a 3D client software for interacting with multi-user virtual worlds.
Screenshots here: http://3di-rei.org
Currently Rei works with the open source OpenSimulator server back end (also BSD-licensed), which can support virtually infinite-sized worlds spread out over multiple physical servers. The combined platform is quite flexible and allows you to develop multi-user games or 3D applications.
Rei can run inside a web browser and allows interaction between 3D world objects and 2D web contents via JavaScript. The interaction between 3D world and 2D Internet contents can be a stepping stone to a future 3D Internet (3Di).
Windows platform is fully supported; Linux support needs optimization.
For more information and screenshots see here:

OpenSimulator: http://opensimulator.org (server)
Please have a look if you are interested or would like to get involved in development.
Thanks,
-nlin
