is still one of the most unique fps to this very day. also the physics engine is one of its kind.. cause it allows dinosaurs only to run around outside and forbids them to enter any sort of building.

it's probably somewhere in my personal top 100

Thief - Truly awesome stealth experience.

System Shock - Oh yes. 8)

Arx Fatalis - Spiritual sequel to the Ultima Underworld games, and a sublime labour of love.

Panzer Dragoon Saga - Amazingly realised arcade style RPG for the Saturn. The art direction was immense and the entire experience engrossing from start to finish.

Mother 3 - Only released in Japan for the GBA. It's brilliant though.

Pathologic - "Oblivion With Cancer" apparently.

I think the best game ever made was Chrono Trigger on the SNES. It was ground-breaking at the time. No other game had multiple endings like Chrono Trigger had.
And also one other game deserves the Best Game award: ICO
