as you all know IPAD is launched.. can irrlicht run on IPAD as it going to be a killer gaming console?

I guess you could try to use the OpenGL-ES branch that is also working on the iPhone.

Mhm, I just looked around a little and it seems like it uses the same SDK's as the iPhone. Which also means you need an apple just to develop for that, so no way for me to test it *sigh*. And that you can't run any software on it which didn't go through some apple-shop first.

But like Brainsaw mentioned - Irrlicht OpenGL-ES branch will probably run on it.

Personally i think the ipad is going to be an ifail at that price. I would rather have a £200 netbook. At least it has USB ports, flash and i can listen to tunes, watch movies and read books without having to buy them again.

As ^he said it uses the iphone app stuff so i guess that means objecive C only.

I don't think it'll fail. It's from Apple, so people are gonna buy it. But I won't get one either, the specs don't sound that great to me (for the price).
