Hi Virion,

I'm working on an open source level editor for my game and am just about to add lights. Your light model looks awesome (and I have zero modelling skill). Since both our projects are open source I was wondering if I could use your light model in my editor? If so, where could I grab a copy?

Thanks for your consideration!

I love your recent models Virion, especially the grass looks very good. What technique did you use to make it, in blender i tried the standard way consisting of 2 planes positioned in a cross, but my attempt looks horrible. I see it is rendered with irrlicht, umm did you create it with blender and exported to the engine or made it with billboards inside irrlicht?

i made it in blender. this is the wireframe

lol

try to avoid using perfect crosses because it's ugly. move it away from the center and rotate slightly. randomness and inbalance make it to look more natural.

the main site for the project is down, because the domain has expired, because my money runs out. i can't find a place for it.
the previous site and forum existed for 8 months and I didn't see anyone willing to join the project except asking where can find the editor for their own use.

Are you still working on this project? Even though no one is willing to help (Sorry wish I had time or money to pitch in myself) this looks awesome (Atleast the pics that seem to have lived while your site went down :D )

I'd definately play this =D
The story, although the age-old alien invasion story has a nice unique twist to it, and I really want to know what I can do with a lill mr. alien in my arm ^^

Hope you still work on this.
