Hello everybody,
I would like to know if anybody have tried to implement loading animations (set of keyframes by symbolic name) from 3ds file format? Or other think is there any task for Irrlicht loader extension about this feature?
And one more thing... I have read some blaming words about using 3ds (thru quality of 3d objects). I'm sorry for reopening this topic, but I'm curious for your in sider opinion.

It's not really about format's quality but about irrlicht loader for both file : actually the 3DS loader don't support smoothing group also it's duplicating vertices so you will get 3 NON SHARED vertices per face.
But about the 3ds animation, I'm not sure that 3ds file handle animation.
(Some other things are not handled also like vertex color IIRC).
And also this is not the correct section it's would be begginer help.
