Dev c++ Please!!

Dev c++ Please!!

Hello every one im CoCoNO im testing engines and this is one looks great but theres one problem the lasted vertion of irrlicht engine for dev c++ is the 1.4.1 and that is kinda outdated whitout some great features like splitscreen and many more
so i want to ask how to put irrlicht 1.7.1 in Dev c++ 5

in the tutorial says to put some libraries in lib/devc folder but that folder DONESNT EXIST there another way to update devc irlicht??

no longer supported :( damn well tanks anyway gonna try it whit visual studio

is just devc++ have an awesome features

What features does it have that Visual Studio or Code Blocks doesn't?

well i dont like microsoft visual studio cuz is big as hell, dev c++ is portable

in my school we use dev c++ so is the most confortable eviroment for me
to do list, debugger, proyect manager

i know visual have another features but is just because i feel confortable and i would like to use a non microsoft compiller dunno why

gonna try in ms visual studio an codeblocks

I agree, but Code Blocks is portable as well.

What is the problem with the devc++ project file? After all, this is just an IDE. The underlying compiler works very well for Irrlicht. So it's only a question of how to get the files to compile with a given IDE. I don't see any problems on our side, could be only a problem if the IDE does not support certain things.
