a sunshine effect

Post by lancer_xjb »

How to create a sunshine effect. I means there is a light scene node fly around a map as the sun flies around the earth. There is shadow on the map. Furthermore, it'll be better if can adjust the brightness of the light scene node manually.

Use dynamic lighting. If you're illuminating your whole scene, use a directional light type instead of a point light. Since the sun is (for all intents and purposes) infinitely far away from the scene, the directional light will do a better job of illuminating all objects at the same angle. You can adjust the strength of the light by creating an SLight struct, changing some values around, and setting it to your light scene node.
