Ok here's some more. I have no use for them because they were for the incorret game location. :) I think Korea.

just a short proof of concept, using one of the textures from ACE247 (thanks btw :D ). there is still room for optimization.
also please ignore the lines floating above the grass in screenshot 1, there seem to be problems with the texture transparency....

none, this is just a quick hack using plane meshes (from geometry creator).

show us the ground texture instead.. I place $10 that it doesnt look as good as my made by hand..

@devsh Thats some neat handiwork :) but i think its a little too big maybe. Could you post a screen of how that looks like when combined with grass. Also you could add some inconsistencies to that texture(like blend it with a noise texture), to add variations or blend in some sand. Like these I made

They fit perfectly without tiling issues.
(NOT FREE! these are just as examples and you may use them in a private build, but not in a public one.)

@ACE247: maybe you should put some watermark on it if its not free. some people might find it on Google search and not seeing the text you wrote.

Great textures and suggestions, guys. I fiddeled with it myself a little and here's the grass at it's current state:

It doesn't blend well with the terrain in the shadows but that will be fixed soon.

@Eigen you should maybe update your dev blog and Front Warrior Website a little. That'll be 8)
@devsh I would be very happy if you could share some Code or a method on how you achieved your grass.
I'll maybe post some Scenes of my own soon too. :D
