Combining 2 wrappers into 1
it's working with .x, 3ds, obj the same model made.
Put your car body upper than the road ,
castle = LoadMesh("car_wahagn/road.3ds")
Dim As nBODY bdy10 = CreateBodyTree(castle,0)

I don't have any problems with posyioning... my problem is that the car goes straight trough the model without coliding and the strange thing is that when I switch the model to the the original one ( without any other changes .. just the original model) that it does collide then so my problem has to do with 1) the model itself or 2) the sketchup exporter 3) or ninfa 3d's model loader. I think it's the second one but I'm not sure...
EDIT: Oh sorry I was talking cr*p above ^^ cause it first did work with the original then I loaded my model but it didn't collide the so I thought that there is something with my model and that the original model would work because it did before... but I didn't test the original again and now I've tested it and I found out that the car doesn't collide with the original test.x model neither... so there is something wrong with my code or so... I'll check my code and see....

I tested it by using the original impreza file and only change the model and still it doesn't work so it's indeed the model ( sketchup exporter) ...

Ok here is a film of what happens so you can visualize what I mean and how that model looks like... ( btw sorry for the very bad quality its is caused by hypercam filming)

seems to be something wrong with the normals of the surfaces;
The normals of the surfaces are inversed, therefore newtonphisycs can't see the surfaces.
Change the editor, becouse you haven't a good converter for your model.
For modeling is anim8or, free.
For levels to build roads and buildings, you can use mapscape from evolved home, is free, or cartography shop, is free too.
Mapscape has an exporter to .x files and cartography shop saves in csm (cartography shop map). They can be loaded in Ninfa.

Thanx for the tips, I already used anima8tor before but I didn't know mapscape and catagraphy shop * now downloading mapscape*

I don't understand what you mean with this but I will try and see myself wheter it works or not.nespa wrote: If the origins of your bodymodel are upper than the origins of your bod ycar , the car will pass throw the ground (the grpund of your mesh model).

a 3D world has its origin (0,0,0), named absolut origin;
each 3D model has, too, its origin (0,0,0), named local origin;
in your 3D model editor, you must to position the local origin of the model in the center of the axes of the editor, otherwise the model will have an relative offset from the center of the world 3D.
1st time when load a mesh, it is positioned at absolut (0,0,0) position, then local position is the same as absolut position;

Ok, I tried it with a model made by cartography shop but I still got a problem. The car does collide with the map but the car is always under the 3d model I made, postion changing doesn't affect any thing the car is till under it. In the editor ( cs ) the model is right on the x axis so it doesn't have any Y ofsset or so.
This is the .csm file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LU126ICC
EDIT: because of the fact that changing the postion in ninfa didn't work I descided to change the position of the model in cartography shop itself so the car would be above the the model. but that didn't work because if I do that the same things happens of a couple of posts ago: the car goes straight through the model like in that movie I showed you....
( btw: when the model postion is on the x axis. the car is always under the model like I sayd in the beginning of this post but one other detail: if I start the program and the car is under the model-> when I use mousepick and lift the car up the car does collide with the bottom of the 3d model I made

your download link is inaccesible;
I made a plated box and i saved as .csm and exported too, as .x and b3d files;
Alls of them work well;
see the example;

You have 2 screen shoots, too, to see modeling in csm;
