I really like that style of modeling. I can tell a lot of effort has been put into getting each vertex in exactly the right place and normal, to give a smooth look.
I voted for with a human nose, btw.

btw, just in case anyone wondered the character is not actually done by me... it's the one thing in my game done by a "real" artist...

IMHO a small line instead of a completely modelled nose would fit best.
