There's a way for irrlicht to use .blend files for scenes directly?

Could you give us a little more? I know there is a project irrb to export scenes from blender, but if there were a way to read them directly why is there so much traffic in these forums relating to importing models from blender? And why is the answer .x or .b3d? Sorry, I just can't understand.

Well, try readblend as search term. The following link (from 4 different ones IIRC) will help http://irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/ ... =readblend
I don't know what is possible with this reader, and what not. But it's not open enough for me to eihter assess or even use it for Irrlicht. If it works and the development will be more public, we could consider adding it to irrExt or the core library (though it seems to require bullet to work, which would mean irrext for sure).

Thanks. I didn't realise the title was the key. The OP knew more than they were letting on!
