This is exactly what I have on mind.

The best option would be to create a few propositions of body proportions,
create prototype renders and ask community to choose the best looking option.

Ok, based on the communities suggestion, I decided I will make multiple models and then we can pick the best one instead of trying to go back and make changes to the single model. Also it is hard to reformat an old model once you have worked it up from the base mesh. I started working on this new model, it still needs color on the eyes and some more work. I will try to get the finish w/ detail portion up by this weekend.

Finally bigger boobs, thanks :D

Body seems looking good, I am waiting for more detailed version.

PS: when you post more detailed version, please also include render from perspective view to make details more visible

Her lips look like she had some extreme plastic surgery, you might want to make them more subtle ;)

On a related note, why not start off from a makehuman model (I've played around with makehuman before and the models it generates look amazing) and tweak it to look like a fairy?
As far as I know, the makehuman licensing allows you to use generated meshes for any purpose except for the creation of makehuman-like applications (correct me if I'm wrong)

Skin looks for me "too old". This body looks some like a mature women (~40 years old? more? :D).
I think that body should looking some more like young girl, something kinda 19-22 years old.
Young girls are crazy, fast, doing sports, they are dynamic. Old woman are (usually) not.

Btw, this skin looks very good, it's nice work, but imo it doesn't fit to irrlicht mascot.

Old woman ??? she looks more like a troll. the measurments are all off and she looks as if she belong in a "Buffy the vampire slayer" episode.

Update Sidney would be nicer.
code happens

Trying again. Note the face looks weird at this angle. Going back to using reference images.

Yeah reference sketches are the way to go, freehand modelling without some sort of reference is pretty hard to get right
