Looking for a *.irr compatible (free) scene editor

Post by rubenwardy »

Any one got any recommendations? I have tried IrrEdit, Sourento, Deled, Blender.

IrrEdit (CC) lacks features (terrains, particles), Sourento is buggy and slow using (moving around is stupidly slow), Deled is not to my style, and Blender is needlessly complex

Last time I needed one for a game I just wrote my own. Took ~2 weeks (fulltime) and afterward I had the advantage of having a game-specific editor. But certainly there are also more complex editors on which you can work for a year... really depends a lot on what you actually need.

I found EditIrr which is a better version of IrrEdit (and open source)
