Did anyone actually get Jedi outcast and academy to compile?

Post by Cube_ »

So, I've been playing with the sources since mid-April and still can't locate the libraries I need.

What I can't locate seems to be the Bink SDK, I assume this is unattainable.
Therefore I ask, is there any wrapper for some more conventional audio/video library that can be used in place just to get the games to compile (oh, I am interested in debugging certain parts of the code)

There is no wrapper. Buy a bink SDK or edit it out.

Well, based on the laws where I currently reside it isn't illegal to download a pirated copy, just to upload it, I was just hoping for a wrapper or other legal way.
hacking all the bink related code was an idea but after a a few hours related errors I realized that there is bink related code *everywhere*

I will *cough*purchase*cough* the license
