What is Oneironautics Quest?
Being a big fan of lucid dreaming http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream and trying to gain an understanding in the metaphysical world etc, I decided to naturally make a game about it. But this isn't a "game" in the traditional sense, the idea is to get you to lucid dream. It's a tool to aid in this and it uses various methods, furthermore it also can help create a planned scenario lucid dream. That is, by doing something in the game, you may then do this activity in your sleep. For instance, if you're flying around like superman in the game, in the clouds, above cities etc there is a good potential you'll do this in your dream.
Some features:
How does it work?
It uses many techniques that I've learnt over the years and popular ones out there translated into a video game, so it has some of the following features:
*Binaural beats within the game http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binaural_beats
*relaxing music
*tutorials
*subliminal messages
*common dreamscape scenarios
*calm, dreamy atmosphere and graphics
*A virtual dream journal

Re: Unique Lucid Dreaming game - check it out!
I think this is pretty cool i have been a natural lucid dreamer since i was a kid and i have attempted to make 3d models of some of the places i have gone but find it difficult to get the same feeling i had in the dream and i wish you good look in modeling.
I think this would be really cool if you had a online mode and people could have there on world they could design and others could visit. Than some people who are more experienced with lucid dreaming could talk to them on here about it. i guess kinda in a way like a game named second life http://secondlife.com/?gclid=CK7wpKK3x7sCFcpDMgodECQAXA never played it but heard quite a bit about it. I dont know i just think this is a pretty cool idea keep it up i would love to see where it goes.
and also...
It's kinda funny i saw your name here on irrlicht forums and wondered if you were a lucid dreamer and wondered if you were part of the DreamViews(http://www.dreamviews.com/content/) Community.

Hey man,
Glad to see you like the idea, yeah I do have a multiplayer online mode in mind (but the main lucid training/dream/nightmare single player campaign mode is my main focus) and the multiplayer will be a shared lucid dream sequence with tasks, and chat etc but that's all an after thought and not a main focus currently.
