In other words I am bored and I'll accept pretty much any challenge to a game of chess, so if anyone plays I am on chess.com and I play correspondence chess too.
Anyone here like chess?

I like chess!
I used to be on chess.com, but I have since lost my account.
... I tried, I tried. I couldn't find a funny response image. But I did find this: http://my-big-games.blogspot.com/2012/0 ... nload.html

Reminds me of the good old Battle Chess. I played it a lot back in the days.chronologicaldot wrote:But I did find this: http://my-big-games.blogspot.com/2012/0 ... nload.html

Just wondering (The reason being that I am developing a small game, NetChess (multiplayer, duh), pretty much just checking to see if there's any interest... well that and the fact that I need someone to play against)

Re: Anyone here like chess?
I used to play a lot of chess in past, I remember when I was able to beat my Commodore C64 on the hard difficulty, on Chess program loaded from a cassette Nowadays I can get beaten by any easy chess program
NetChess idea sounds good! We can arrange later something like Irrlicht Community Chess Championship maybe?

That'd be sweet, got the graphics (3D models and textures) and rendering code set up with most of the input done (haven't had time doing more as I am helping my RL friend on his project (if you recall he's the guy who had issues with his voxel implementation being slow, he posted about it in advanced help and got some help with it), although I expect to have solved his issue soon and then I'll implement the networking functionality (got half the server code down))
