after running the tec demo I could see the mip-map edge (ugly)
is there any filtering (tri, bi, ansotropic {or how ever it's spelled})?
I've looked at the headers but C++ is new to me so I am not sure I would notice it if I saw it.
Um, uh, yea... sure!

I'm currently using Fedora Core 3, my first Linux. I had a lot of trouble installing the ATI drivers but after a while I read on a forum that ATI's current drivers are incompatible with the 2.6.9 kernel + Xorg 6.8. So I'm really looking forward to the their drivers (who're already delayed) so I can finally start programming in Linux :). And testing if all those stuff is really platform-independant .

Yea I am using Mandrake 10 just for ease of install and extra packages.
Had Fedora Core 1 I don't like the package management (little ot no way to install/uninstall individual packages)

Conaxent 56k soft modem (that doesn't support Linux with out a $14.00 (US) kernel module from Linuxant) that I am too poor to pay for so I can only connect at 14.4 with Linux) more blah eww ick gag.... :(

AC97 sound (2 channel only) (Hey! it could have only had the PC speaker! )

10/100 LAN (with nothing to connect it to  )

I just got around to running the tech demo, and I have the same question. Why (no offense intended here) does it look so bad? Is there no filtering in Linux?

Haven't ran it in Linux yet, just Win XP it's not too bad but a little harsh to see this line of blurry then blurrier running down the screen and on surfaces at close angles.
I was just wondering if it was the faut of my crappy graphics card.
