Alright, first of all, Niko, I love you but I had to go to NX.
Second of all: I've noticed that NX doesn't really have a good forum...does most of the people still use this forum?
Third: Is NX and -NX joining in the next -NX release?
NX++
1. There's nothing wrong with going to NX++ 
. It's still Irrlicht.
2. IrrlichtNX has a decent, in-use forum, located at their website: http://www.irrlichtnx.mmdevel.de/phpBB2/index.php
3. NX++ will probably merge with the next Irrlicht release (though the materialsystem will be completely different) but I don't think niko will merge with NX++
