Irrlicht news & forums both need an rss feed! How handy would that be?!
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=144548
That seems to be the sort of mod for phpBB, however comments reveal that it is rather slow. There is a little mod to help speed it up here:
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=254606
And another one altogether is here:

On the phpBB forums the popular one seems to be the first one modded.
With firefox's live bookmarks this would be awesome! It seems the forums are busy enough to warrant an rss feed. The community is growing
Maybe if we ask nicely (or beg enough) Niko will get it set up for us?
What do you think Niko? It is possible or would it slow the servers too much?

Would be good idea. Altough I think that the Firefox RSS Bookmarks are a little bit couterintuitive, RSS readers are a lot more useful.
I've already seen some scripts which generate RSS Feeds from HTML pages, lets see..

There is a mod on the phpbb forum to make a feed for the forum.
and here is a simple js code that you can add to your index page to feed from it.
Code: Select all
<script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="http:///irrlicht.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/topics_anywhere.php?mode=show&f=a&n=10&hnr=864&sfn=y&fnl=y&r=y&sr=y&b=non&lpb=0&lpd=0&lpi=y"></script>
Oh, that is a copy from
my site. I use a feed from another forum that has the mod enabled, and I just changed the url for the forum to this one.
If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d
Sys specs:
AMD 3700+ 64 processor
1.0 gb ram
e-Geforce 6600 graphics 256 mb onboard ram
