Hm, I failed because my joypad has no "start" button. Old logitech joypad - kinda like ps1 controllers. And I couldn't figure out how to change controller options (probably needs start-button to select stuff).
I think keyboard should always work additionally in menues (enter and/or space for select and ESC to leave current menu).
