Just upgraded an older project from Irrlicht 1.5 to Irrlict 1.8.5, and got some strange behaviour with one certain mesh getting heavily overlit, by a dynamic lightsource. Is there some way of setting the light sensitivity of mesches?

What kind of material are those meshes using? One of the default materials or some shader? I don't remember changes since 1.5, but maybe something with light-distance calculation changed. I know those were/are not identical in DX and OGL, but not sure if they changed behavior in those versions. But I don't remember them causing overlighting as default materials usually just make the texture be be fully visible. Overlighting is in my experience only happening with shader, but maybe just something I've not run into yet.
