cinematic mode?

hey all, was just thinking
would it be neat to have a cinematic mode? where there was those black boxes at the top and bottom of the screen, making the picture in theatre format?

why dont you just add a picture with this "black boxes" on the screen, that should work just fine, shouldnt it? i am doing it like this, too.
