Does phpBB have an export function? You could export to .sql file but it'd be pretty hard to read....

Phpbb has a backup tool, but I don't know if it's file can be read by anything other than the database.
It is an .sql file, so I don't know if you can do anything with it. (I'm not a programmer)

Beware the size tho, here are the stats from my forum and the backup size:

Number of posts: 10997 Posts per day: 14.29
Number of topics: 967 Topics per day: 1.26
Number of users: 54 Users per day: 0.07
Board started: 07 Jan 2003 02:24 am Avatar directory size: 157.75 KB
Database size: 15.52 MB

Database backup.sql=41.6mb
If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d

Sys specs:
AMD 3700+ 64 processor
1.0 gb ram
e-Geforce 6600 graphics 256 mb onboard ram

A backup would probably include user information and email addresses. NOw I don't think you really want to make that available.

No. The good thing is that it is a text file, so you can remove that stuff. Now we are talking a couple of hours work tho. :?
I don't have access to the admin panel here, so no one has to worry.
