before someone says that terrain lod was in 0.7
after a while in 0.8
now in 0.9
then... 20.1??

it's not because niko put priority on cool features like shaders (hlsl, per-pixel lighting, etc) that lod won't be implemented.
be patient.

Yes I'm sorry about that.
Maybe you could try one of the excellent external terrain renderers until I've integrated this functionality. Some people already have created some very useful ones for Irrlicht.
