This is a series of attempts that i did to get a toon shading effect with Irrlicht using an animated mesh and another scaled version of it to get the outline.. this does not use shaders however the mesh gets rendered twice...

Yeah, Saigumi also posted this a while ago when someone asked for cel shading
. Nice way of doing it, though not very performant to render it twice.
