yup, the C4 engine. They're doing some amazing stuff. Too bad it's commercial... and expensive!!!

Not to mention "tooo restrictive".
If it exists in the real world, it can be created in 3d

Why the autor of Irrlicht don't implement those features on it's graphics engine? That would be great and 8) !

Its hard to be a one many army, he wants to make Irrlicht on his own. He is a very admirable man! :D

But I don't think that Niko would reject a patch adding such stuff. At least after some code cleaning and such. It could be also a problem of patents?!

I bet Niko is working on Irrlicht by interest, not technological superiority.

Hehe, that's right. But parallax mapping would be cool as next feature listed there to put into Irrlicht. And if anybody creates a 'Stencil Shadow and Penumbral Wedge Rendering'-SceneNode and sents it to me to insert it into the next version: Would be just cool :)
