Altered source versions must be clearly marked as such

Post by New 2 Irrlicht »

Hi. I want to edit the .dll (source code), and I was wondering what do I have to do to comply with the license agreement.

I know in Zlib you have to add 'f' to the version #, like 1.0.1f

Ok, so as long as I say in the code "This is an altered version" I should be OK?

Yeah that would be ok, also if you place it for download on your website or whatever you should say, Hey this is my modified Irrlicht Engine, first created by Niko then give a link.

All though he says credits are not needed. Its still good to do so,
