Hi people, :D
I have uploaded the latest archive of my simple project and some camera movement problems solved and the texture that was missing in the lfist version
had been puted back in the project.
Please try it out and tall me what do you think!

misto. Impresionant ... chiar eram curios cum e harta facuta dar nu am momentan nimic instalat sa incarc fisierul. M-am plimbat cu fata pana la sfarsitul lumii :D. E marfa ... sa vezi oraselul din afara ...
Ai modelat tu blocurile?
Trebuie implementat un jump si o posibilitate sa urci niste scari .. focul ....

Don't take it to hard...
Maybe not everybady know english. I have 11 years o francois and i still can not spek with them ...
I was just sayng that he made some nice think. (you don't realy obserbe that from the pictures, because the fog is makiing every think to seems a liittle white) but is realy bice.
It is a big city and you can move in it. I take the gril and i have moved outside the citiy so i can watch him from outside how i can do here when i go outside Iasi and look at it from outside :P. It is a veri nice map .. but he still have to implement jump (sii fii antena ca nu am zis sarit deci nu vorbeam numai in limba mea ), the posibility to climb stairs, and fire ...
bottom line...
you sould realy download his project ... it is impressive

He's Canadian, always wanting people to read the manual (same as me), and bitching!!!??? :shock: :D :lol: :roll:

Ok back on topic, I like the project, but some issues, that you probably already know, sometimes when your right next to a building, some weird camera problems occur... Also moving left to right, the character tries to run straight, surely it should play strafing animation, unless your just about to develop this ;)

Hello people ,
I'm happy sombody posted coments about my project, thank you.
Now about the level, it was made by me in 3DMax 5 and it was made in a hurry because I wanted to see how it would look a city in a 3rd person view.
The problem is that I'm not that goot on modeling levels( to make them nice it would take me days for shure) so a have asked a friend to jone my project and now he is my modelled(to bad he's got little time for it and now he's got problems with his computer). He is working on a better level(but mostely the same idea).
I'm trying to make a post-apocaliptic action-rpg game(I like Tombaider, Fallout, MadMax the movie and Resident Evil the game so it explaines the tendenci) and I shall try to make it as close to my oun idea as posible but long way to there.
Happy coding people and Let Irrlight Grow Bigger!!!(and I hope it will become better then Ogre soon cause it will I'm sure of it) 8)

I'm trying so hard not to reply to this message, but I feel the urge to do so, lets not start competing OGRE against Irrlicht and vice versa. Their are pro's and con's of using both, I'm sure neither sets of developers want to enter in to a war of words which is better. To judge something as better also within this industry and the computing industry is relatively complex thing to do... Right rant over... :roll:

Well you're right,
But I would like very much to see Irlicht on No1 on a list of 3d engines(free engines off course) because it's way much esier to use than Ogre and everybody here knows that. That's all.

Hello people.
Back from the grave I might say.
My old K_Game has become from a game that I wanted to do,
TO a GAME ENGINE that I wanted to do and that I have allready started.
It is on source forge now and has a SVN and can be downloaded the work I have done so far.
I worn you though it has only a bit of the core implelemted as I have started from the begining.
You might thake a look at it if you cand and want and make comments on its.
I would realy areciate it:D, help is allways good:D.
A big part is from Irrlicht but it is transformed and it will be diferent even from Lightfather(old IrrlichtNX) and even from OGRE:D.
