Internet Cafe Names

Post by Midnight »

I Recently got the oppertunity to open a PC repair and sales/internet cafe in my home town with a friend of mine.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to come up with a name for it since it falls under a few different catagories of store type.

So I ask you... what should I call it?

The town is a small alpine like village in Northern Michigan founded by a swiss railroad laywer and is modelled after his home town as a theme...
sister cities, if that helps any.

...how do you spell computer store in swedish? lol

Call it "CyberTech".

Sweedish? The only sweedish I know is "Alt lys er svunnet hen".

Well I live in Denmark which is right next to Sweden and our languages are very alike so though I don't really know what its called in swedish, I know what its called in Danish: "Computer Butik" :)
But also I would suggest the name "Computer Biks" which is kinda slang and sounds cool (at least in danish ;))

Oh didn't think that far.. ;)
Well then it's alittle diffrent since the swiss speak, as far as I know, 3 diffrent languages, German, Italian and French, depending on which part of the country.
In German "Computer Store" is "Computer Laden".
I don't really know the other languages but i hope this helps.

actually I don't care about the swissish crap that was just an idea..

We've decided on CyberTech as a name for the store which works for both areas.

who is the guest that mentioned my return?
if I had to guess it would be rabidlockergnome

yes I'm back I was offline for awhile moving around the country but I'm home again and I've been working on guice for nearly 6 months now in my very little spare time. guice is nearing it's beta release which is more like an expansion pack compared to the original.

you can expect Guice Beta to be the best GUI editor available for the Irrlicht engine when it's released...supporting more types of GUI elements then any other project to date aswell as a few really cool graphics features that make using Guice all that much more enjoyable.

oh yes...and those projects u urged me to take up... done. masterpieces, if i may say so myself.

I guess that's a proposal for an internet cafe name. I think it's not bad, cuz it has a certain ambiguity :)
